How are the four modules structured?

Part One - A broad, simple and safe introduction to an easy method of applying and using sound. Simple Voice exercises and practical experiences with many sound tools and instruments.

Part Two - Consolidation of previous learning, with more emphasis on the skills of sound creation using a broader range of sound tools and instruments.

Part Three - Fine tuning and honing the skills of the individual on the instruments, and discussing the finer points of musicality and sensitivity along with any specialist interest that the student may have developed.

Part Four - Assessment of the student and observation of their gained insight into the world of sound therapy - just as importantly, what sound means to them as a healing tool and how they have integrated it into their practice.

We have found that students are able to take the practical skills learnt even as early as part one back into their personal and professional lives with great effect. From the outset you will gain a valuable understanding of sound that is both practical, profound and highly inspiring. Later in the course we find many students re-defining the purpose of their lives. This leads to them applying the methods, skill and philosophy learnt into paths as diverse as hospice work, prison work and medical practice.
